What does $150 per user, per month include?
Support, Modern Workplace implementation and management, the 24/7 security operations centre with Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft 365 backup with restore tests, device management, monitoring, and projects agreed in your roadmap. Hardware and Microsoft licences are extra, but passed through at cost.
Why don't you mark up hardware and licences?
Because a margin on what we sell would colour every recommendation we make. Our income is the per-user fee, so our advice is only about what works for you. You see our buy price on every invoice.
What is a Modern Workplace?
A way of running IT from the cloud instead of an office server: Microsoft 365 for mail and files, Intune to manage every device, Entra ID for secure sign-in, and Windows Autopilot so new laptops set themselves up. We implement it as part of the fee.
What does a 24/7 security operations centre do?
It watches security signals from your devices and accounts around the clock. When something suspicious happens, an analyst investigates, contains it if needed, and escalates to our engineers, including overnight and on weekends.
Are we locked into a contract?
No. The agreement is month to month and six pages long. Give us a month's notice and we hand over every credential, document and configuration record we hold.
How quickly do you respond?
If a whole team cannot work, within 15 minutes. If one person cannot work, within 30 minutes. Anything less urgent, the same business day. Security alerts are triaged around the clock.
Do you support businesses outside Melbourne?
Yes. We are based in South Melbourne and do onsite work across greater Melbourne. Because the Modern Workplace runs from the cloud, we also support businesses in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and regional Victoria remotely.
What size of business do you work with?
Mostly 10 to 150 staff. Under about five people, a pay-as-you-go arrangement usually costs less, and we will tell you so.
